Job summary

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is hiring a Senior Associate in the Certification Team (Cards) to oversee certification, testing, and compliance of RuPay cards, 3DS and tokenisation solutions per NPCI standards. You will work with issuers, acquirers, and service providers to resolve issues, improving certification workflows and quality.

Ideal candidates bring strong PCI knowledge, testing experience with Postman, and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally in a structured,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in payment systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination and project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of PCI standards, APIs, and payment terminologies.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Postman) and defect life cycle.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Ability to handle multiple certifications simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence.
• Knowledge (or) maintenance expertise of OpenStack servers.
• Good understanding of Java, Python, .NET and DBs.
• Exposure to NPCI’s certification processes or payment scheme testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with banks and payment partners, and internal stakeholders ensuring seamless product validation before market deployment.
• Execute end-to-end certification testing for NPCI Products and payment applications in-line with NPCI guidelines.
• Execute test cases, log defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain certification documentation and provide reports for audits.
• Implement automation as required in the certification process.
• Manage end to end certification activities across all products.
• Coordination with internal departments for ensuring smooth business operations.
• Follow and bring in industry best practices for certifications.
