Job summary

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) invites a Senior Associate to join the Certification Team (Cards). You will ensure compliance, testing, and certification of RuPay cards, 3DS and tokenisation solutions against NPCI standards.

You will collaborate with issuers, acquirers and service providers to troubleshoot certification issues, oversee end-to-end testing, maintain documentation, and drive automation within the certification process.

Qualifications

• Total 6+ years in payment systems.
• Strong communication, coordination and project management skills.
• Knowledge of PCI standards, APIs and payment terminology.
• Hands-on testing with testing tools and defect lifecycle.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Experience handling multiple certifications simultaneously.
• Knowledge or maintenance expertise of OpenStack servers.
• Nice to have: Java, Python, .NET and DBs.
• Exposure to NPCI’s certification processes or payment scheme testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with banks and payment partners, and internal stakeholders ensuring seamless product validation before market deployment.
• Execute end-to-end certification testing for NPCI Products and payment applications in-line with NPCI guidelines.
• Execute test cases, log defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain certification documentation and provide reports for audits.
• Implement automation as required in the certification process.
• Manage end to end certification activities across all products.
• Coordination with internal departments for ensuring smooth business operations.
• Follow and bring in industry best practices for certifications.
