Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced quality professional to lead and drive AS9100-compliant quality initiatives. You will manage product and process quality inspections, prepare monthly performance reports, and establish robust quality procedures, while guiding a team of quality control staff.

The role emphasizes waste reduction and meeting customer expectations. Applicants should have 5–6 years in quality, knowledge of APQP/PPAP/PFMEA, and familiarity with J-STD-001

Qualifications

• Around 5-6 years in the quality function driving quality initiatives.
• AS9100 quality standards and prior experience with aerospace manufacturers.
• Knowledge of inspection methods and aerospace manufacturing is advantageous.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and quality control tools.
• Understanding of J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Nadcap requirements in Chemical Processing (Painting).

• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Quality control tools.
• Knowledge in J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Knowledge of Nadcap requirements in Chemical Processing (Painting)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with equivalent experience, including management & supervision experience.
