Job summary

NPCI in Mumbai is seeking a Sr. Associate Client Implementation and Readiness to operate as an Individual Contributor with hands-on capabilities on UPI or Rupay/Card implementations.

Job Summary

The opportunity we require someone who can operate as an Individual Contributor, with strong hands‑on technical capabilities on UPI or Cards implementation. Candidate will be responsible for the integration of key clients/partners across the globe to enable UPI and Rupay Acceptance, Remittance and Licenses. The candidate filling this role should be experienced in technical project management skills and possess experience implementing software and payment solutions from a technical perspective. This role will support cross channel solutions, platforms, and market rollout with a focus on being a technical subject matter expert on new digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Be able to independently handle technical assignments, especially around UPI/Cards design and implementation.
• Have a solid understanding of various infrastructure setups (on prem, cloud based hosting, hybrid models, etc.).
• Possess strong knowledge of application and infrastructure security postures.
• Demonstrate skills on testing / testing lifecycles, including reading API logs and debugging API issues.
• Be capable of writing comprehensive Technical Specification Documents (including API specifications) and creating standardized templates.
• Communicate effectively, handle client interactions with confidence, and articulate solution design aspects clearly.
• Should have basic skills on technical project management.

Key Skills and Experience

• Candidate should have a UPI/ Cards Implementation background. Should be technically sound and be able to read API logs and debug any issues if needed.
• Candidate should be able to understand and explain details about network and Infrastructure.
• Candidate should have a good understanding of the SDLC and Implementation lifecycle.
