Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in India is seeking a Senior Associate in the Business Case & Value COE within Digital & Technology Services to design, quantify, and track technology-enabled business value, partnering with senior stakeholders to translate transformation into measurable EBITDA, cash, cost and revenue outcomes.

You will deliver hands-on financial analysis, build baseline assessments, and help prioritize initiatives, while ensuring governance and reporting across the transformation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in consulting, transformation PMO, finance, or analytics roles.
• Strong financial modeling & Excel / PowerPoint skills.
• Understanding of KPIs, process performance, and cost structures.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in tech transformation programs with a broad understanding of strategy, selection/sourcing, architecture, roadmap, optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead baseline current-state assessments with business & IT leaders; facilitate value discovery workshops; own development of full business cases with CFO-grade rigor; support funding approvals.
• Design & operate Value Realization Office (VRO) models; embed value metrics into governance; own benefits tracking and executive reporting.
• Lead value leakage diagnostics; define action plans and quantify reclaimed value; support independent value assurance.

Role Overview

As a Senior Associate in the Business Case & Value COE in Digital & Technology Services (DTS) you will support the design, quantification, and tracking of technology‑enabled business value, working closely with senior stakeholders to translate transformation initiatives into credible financial outcomes (EBITDA, cash, cost, revenue). This role is hands‑on, analytical, and client‑facing.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Case Leadership – Lead baseline current‑state assessments with business & IT leaders; facilitate value discovery workshops across functions; own development of full business cases with CFO‑grade rigor; lead initiative prioritization and roadmap sequencing; support leadership alignment and funding approvals.
• Value Realization Office (VRO) Design & Operation – Design and implement VRO operating models (charter, structure, roles, KPIs, tools); embed value metrics into governance & decision‑making forums; own benefits tracking mechanisms and executive reporting; act as a value controller, flagging deviations and driving corrective action; ensure value realization checkpoints across the transformation lifecycle.
• Value Recovery & Intervention – Lead value leakage diagnostics and root‑cause analysis; define action plans (process redesign, adoption fixes, automation levers); quantify reclaimed value and ensure sustainability; support independent value assurance for executives and sponsors.
