Job summary

NPCI in Chennai is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Certification Team (Non-Cards). You will ensure compliance, app-testing, and certification of UPI, IMPS, AePS, and other NPCI products.

You’ll work with banks, payers, TPAP and vendors to troubleshoot issues and validate deployments. The role requires API knowledge, testing expertise, and documentation skills, with automation increasingly part of the certification process.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of PCI standards, APIs, and payment terminologies.
• Experience with testing tools and defect tracking.
• Ability to document certification processes and reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with banks, payment partners, and internal stakeholders for product validation prior to market deployment.
• Execute end-to-end certification testing for NPCI products and payment applications per NPCI guidelines.
• Log defects, ensure timely resolution, and maintain certification documentation for audits.
• Implement automation as required in the certification process.
• Coordinate end-to-end certification activities across all products.

JOB DETAILS:

• Identify gaps in the current monitoringprocess.
• Design an AI-enabled monitoring framework forlog analysis and notifications. Recommend dashboards for operational visibility.
