Job summary

WSP in India Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to develop, modify, and review drawings ensuring design intent is preserved across projects.

The role involves BIM/CAD modelling, concept development, and design documentation, with collaboration across project teams and client interface. Candidates should have strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD, and be capable of producing 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and technical details.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Architectural Design and Detailing, Revit, AutoCAD.
• Desirable: Working Drawings, Architectural Design, REVIT, construction documentation, architecture, Detail Drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and review drawings ensuring design intent is incorporated.
• Develop and implement project design concepts, BIM/CAD modelling, sketches, research, presentations, and design documentation.
• Work on multiple projects, delivering tasks within established deadlines and budgets, and utilizing resources to meet project requirements.
• Interact with lead country‑based clients and present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Prepare, manage, and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details following standards and archiving requirements.
• Develop solutions to technical and design problems according to established design standards; assist in defining project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings, and renderings.
• Assist Project Designers and Project Architects with concept design development.
• Assist the lead team and project team during the design documentation and production process, providing guidance and support where necessary.
• Manage design tasks and deliverables and report on progress against the design programme to the project lead.
• Report on progress and risks associated with the programme.
• Adhere to organizational values and exhibit appropriate behaviours.
• Manage time efficiently and contribute to team meetings reviewing the design programme.
• Oversee junior colleagues, trainees, or interns when needed.
• Support the Project Lead in developing the project execution plan and forecasting resources.
• Provide input on project programming and/or financial planning.
