Job summary

WSP India seeks a Principal Architect with extensive leadership experience to guide the site team and mentor members. You will coordinate disciplines and manage QA for the project while overseeing timely, quality, and budget targets to meet client expectations.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs for regulatory compliance, providing technical leadership, advancing BIM processes, and liaising with authorities to secure approvals. Strong communication and delivery skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institute.
• 12+ years of proven experience in a similar leadership role.
• Experience on projects in Middle East.
• Expert knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Expert knowledge in BIM processes – combine and review models, clash detection, manage changes etc.

Principal Architect to join WSP India with extensive knowledge & experience in fulfilling a leadership role within the site team and mentoring to the team members. Achieve successful co-ordination between disciplines and manage the Quality Assurance system for the project. Manage, direct and supervise direct reports to satisfy the time, quality and budgetary targets, whilst meeting or exceeding Clients’ expectations.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate architectural designs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and designers to ensure that design solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with architectural standards and principles
• Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices for the organization that are optimized for BIM
• Identify and mitigate design risks and issues by collaborating with project teams, designers, and stakeholders
• Ensure all architectural designs are consistent with the organization's strategic objectives and long-term goals
• Participate in project planning and governance activities to ensure that designs are aligned with business requirements and project objectives
• Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders to identify and resolve cross-functional design issues
• Liaise with the statutory and local authorities to obtain design approvals

• The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institute.
• At least 12 years of proven experience in a similar role demonstrating an exemplary track record
• Experience in working on projects in Middle East.
