Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead landscape projects from concept through construction administration.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect with a minimum of 5 years of professional practice to join our studio. You will lead projects from conceptual design through construction execution, bringing both creative vision and technical precision to every phase. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and provide mentorship to junior design staff.

Core Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Drive landscape projects from master planning and conceptualization through to construction administration.
• Design & Documentation: Produce comprehensive design packages, including planting, grading, layout plans, and construction details.
• Visualization: Create compelling 2D graphics and 3D renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
• Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with architects, engineers, urban planners, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Site Management: Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress, resolve challenges, and ensure execution aligns with design intent.
• Mentorship: Guide and technically support junior landscape architects and drafting teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors of Architecture or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Experience: 5+ years of continuous professional experience within a landscape architecture design firm.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, Enscape, or Rhino).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of local horticulture, hardscape materials, site grading, and sustainable design practices.
• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, paired with strong project and time management abilities.
