Job summary

Architeca is seeking a junior architect to support design development, drafting and visualization efforts in Chennai. You will work under senior architects to develop concepts, create layouts, renderings and presentations, and help integrate designs with structural and MEP teams.

Applicants should be eager to learn, comfortable with feedback, and capable of communicating design ideas clearly to clients. The role is on-site in Chennai with a collaborative studio environment that values practical

• Support client meetings by presenting concepts and gathering feedback.
• Document revisions and ensure compliance with local codes and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design Support:

• Use software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-ray, and Photoshop to create high-quality visual content.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including structural, MEP, and project management, to ensure seamless integration of designs.
• Participate in site visits to understand execution challenges and provide design clarifications.

Client Interaction:

• Support senior architects during client meetings by presenting design concepts and gathering feedback.
• Ensure client preferences are documented and reflected accurately in design revisions.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain organized records of design drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
