MKS is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to design, build, and evolve our ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HAM, SAM, and Employee Center. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, delivering high-quality results that improve user experience and automate operations.

This role blends hands-on development, platform engineering, and business analysis to guide the full lifecycle from discovery to deployment and beyond, shaping how MKS utilizes

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the hands-on technical lead for ServiceNow development initiatives across the enterprise.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex ServiceNow solutions using best-practice configuration and scripting.
• Lead technical design sessions and actively implement approved solutions.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, development patterns, and platform governance.
• Drive scalable solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SPM and custom scoped applications.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
• Lead ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and regression testing activities.
• Mentor developers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Perform platform optimization, performance tuning, and technical debt reduction.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our ServiceNow Team and help drive the evolution of the ServiceNow platform at MKS. As a ServiceNow Engineer, you will design, build, and enhance solutions across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HAM, SAM, and Employee Center. You’ll partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical designs and deliver high quality solutions that improve user experience, automate operations, and strengthen platform maturity.

This position requires a blend of hands-on development, platform engineering, and business analysis skills. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle from discovery and design through deployment, while helping shape the future of how our organization uses ServiceNow.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Serve as the hands-on technical lead for ServiceNow development initiatives across the enterprise

Required Skills:

• 5-8 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments
• Expert-level ServiceNow scripting and configuration skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow designer)
• Proven experience acting as a lead while remaining hands-on
• Strong experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SPM, CMDB, and custom applications
• Extensive experience building and supporting ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server)
• UI delivery using Service Portal and/or UI Builder.
• Experience leading platform upgrades and managing release cycles
• Knowledge of performance optimization, instance health, and scalability
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, SPM
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices for ServiceNow development
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, and CIS (ITSM, ITOM, or CMDB)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
