Job summary

Travelex India Private Limited is seeking an IT Asset Management professional to oversee asset and vendor management. The role focuses on enforcing processes, enabling automation, and ensuring licence and risk controls across the IT estate.

Candidates should have 3+ years in ITAM, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate with peers and leadership while driving cost-efficient asset usage and procurement decisions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere and enforce the asset management processes and procedures for Travelex.
• Adhere and enforce the vendor management processes and procedures for Travelex.
• Administer asset management adherence by all users in Travelex.
• Serve as IT Asset subject matter experts.
• Enable and use tools to enable automation for procurement, utilisation, tracking, security and disposal of assets.
• Review lifecycles of Travelex estate (hardware, software, licences).
• Forecast for budgetary purposes.
• Develop recommendations or cost-saving strategies for licensing and asset management.
• Understand and review consumer technologies and their relevance to business and customers.
• Work with Security and deliver initiatives in line with security standards.
• Manage IT tools and technology with cost consciousness; drive innovation and efficiency.
• Carry out risk assessments against new and existing technology and report weaknesses.
• Ensure hardware/software have relevant licences to prevent shadow IT.
• Assess new hardware, technologies and vendors; guide purchasing strategy.
• Build relationships with IT managers and leaders.

• Adhere and enforce the vendor management processes and procedures for Travelex.
• Administer asset management adherence by all users in Travelex.
• Serve as IT Asset subject matter experts.
• Enable and use tools to enable automation for the complete asset management process (procurement, utilisation, tracking, security and asset disposal).
• Enable frequent review lifecycles of Travelex estate (hardware, software, licence adherence).
• Enable forecast for budgetary purposes.
• Develop recommendations or cost‑saving strategies to the license and asset management process.
• Understand and conduct a continuous review of current consumer technologies: what they are, how they work, why they might have a relevancy to the business and our customers.
• Work with Security and deliver each initiative in line with security standards.
• Manage IT tools and technology, remaining cost conscious and drive innovation, automation and efficiency for all technology.
• Carry out risk assessments against new and existing technology being sure to report and act upon any weaknesses that are discovered.
• Work with wider IT team to ensure hardware/software are covered with relevant licences to disable shadow‑IT.
• Assess new hardware, technologies and vendors, providing guidance to steer purchasing strategy.
• Build equivalent relationship with key managers and leaders in IT.
