This role ensures compliance with licensing agreements, reduces software-related risks, controls costs, and maximizes the value of software investments. The SAM Specialist works closely with IT, procurement, legal, and finance teams to maintain accurate software inventories and enforce governance policies.Acts as the conduit between IT functions, translating the requirements, policy adherence into a controlled asset management function. Works with stakeholders to help them understand requirements, makes priority calls.
