Flex in Chennai is seeking an Analyst - Accounts Payable to join our finance team. You will process supplier invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support monthly closing processes.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of accounting/AP experience, strong MS Excel and ERP systems skills, and clear English communication. You will work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, and you will have opportunities to propose improvements to processes, workflows, and controls.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting / AP domain.
• Good understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong MS Excel and ERP systems knowledge.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work in a complex environment with strict deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Process invoices as per the standard operating procedures and meet the targets.
• Resolve discrepant invoices as per the standard operating procedures.
• Reporting activities - Generate and update the AP.
• Passing rectification entries for the errors identified by internal QC team
• Perform quality Check Select Invoices for payment and release as per the standard operating procedures .
• Create / Update Vendor Master records based on Standard operation procedures.
• Must provide Innovative ideas to improve process

What a typical day looks like:

• Process invoices as per the standard operating procedures and meet the targets.
• Resolve discrepant invoices as per the standard operating procedures.
• Reporting activities - Generate and update the AP.
• Passing rectification entries for the errors identified by internal QC team
• Perform quality Check Select Invoices for payment and release as per the standard operating procedures .
• Create / Update Vendor Master records based on Standard operation procedures.
• Must provide Innovative ideas to improve process

The experience were looking to add to our team:

• B.com / BBA(Finance) / M.Com / MBA(Finance).
• Good understanding on MS applications.
• 2 - 4 Year Exp in Accounting /AP Domain
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written/oral communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems.
• Good analytical skills and should be a team player.
• Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects
