Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai seeks an Analyst - Accounts Payable to support vendor invoices, ensure timely payment processing, and maintain accuracy in the AP ledger.

The role requires basic accounting knowledge, proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems, and good English communication. You’ll work in a dynamic team handling deadlines and process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.Com / BBA(Finance) / M.Com / MBA(Finance).
• Good understanding of MS applications.
• 0-1 year experience in Accounting / AP domain.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices as per SOPs and meet targets.
• Resolve discrepant invoices per SOPs.
• Generate and update AP reports.
• Pass rectification entries for QC-detected errors.
• Perform quality checks and select invoices for payment.
• Create/update Vendor Master records per SOPs.

Job Summary

Typical Day

• Process invoices as per the standard operating procedures and meet the targets.
• Resolve discrepant invoices as per the standard operating procedures.
• Reporting activities - Generate and update the AP.
• Passing rectification entries for the errors identified by internal QC team.
• Perform quality Check.
• Select Invoices for payment and release as per the standard operating procedures.
• Create / Update Vendor Master records based on Standard operation procedures.
• Must provide Innovative ideas to improve process.

Qualifications

• B.com / BBA(Finance) / M.Com / MBA(Finance).
• Good understanding on MS applications.
• 0-1 Year Exp in Accounting /AP Domain.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written/oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems.
• Good analytical skills and should be a team player.
• Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects.
