Candidates should have deep knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, ROC/GST, and experience with Tally ERP/SAP/MS Excel. Immediate joiners preferred for this role in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in accounts & finance with manufacturing exposure.
• Experience finalizing balance sheets and statutory compliance.
• Deep GST, ROC, and tax knowledge for a manufacturing setup.
• Audits liaison and coordination with statutory authorities.

Responsibilities

• Finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• GST returns filing and reconciliation with GST portal.
• Regulatory & statutory compliance incl. ROC, PF, ESIC.
• Monitor cash flow, A/P, A/R; prepare MIS and dashboards.
• Lead and supervise junior accountants; ensure timely closes.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced senior accountantwith mandatory hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry. The role involves complete ownership of accounting operations, finalization of accounts & balance sheet, GST compliance, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and team supervision. Strong domain knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and manufacturing-sector accounting practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finalization of Accounts & Balance Sheet

• Preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review of trial balance, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordination with auditors for statutory and internal audits.

2. GST & Tax Compliance

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return, etc.).
• Handling GST reconciliation between books and the GST portal.
• Addressing GST-related notices, queries, and assessments.
• TDS, income tax, and other direct & indirect tax compliance.

3. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, and other applicable laws.
• Preparation and submission of reports to regulatory bodies.
• Support in ROC filing, PF, ESIC, and other statutory obligations.

4. Financial Management & Reporting

• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
• Support management in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

5. Team Coordination & Support

• Supervision of junior accountants and support staff.
• Provide guidance on day-to-day accounting operations.
• Ensure timely closure of books and adherence to reporting deadlines.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, income tax, and ROC compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / MS Excelor other accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to handle audits and liaise with statutory authorities.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• Mandatory: Prior experience in the manufacturing industry only.

Qualification & Experience

• Education:B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter / Final preferred).
• Experience:Minimum 12 years in accounts & finance with strong exposure to balance sheet finalization, GST, and statutory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
