Job summary

Kanodia Cement seeks a highly experienced finance professional to lead the Finance & Accounts function in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee financial management, compliance, reporting, audits, taxation, and team leadership.

The role involves finalization of Balance Sheet and P&L, close cycles, and ensuring accuracy of records. You will drive costing, inventory valuation, GST compliance, and internal controls with ERP and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting
• Preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements
• Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Ensuring accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards
• Handling project accounting and cost monitoring
• Managing Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and Tax Audit processes
• Coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely closure of audit observations
• Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and corporate policies.
• Overseeing GST compliance, returns, reconciliations, and assessments
• Handling direct and indirect tax matters
• Managing tax planning and statutory tax compliance.
• Monitoring cost accounting and cost control systems
• Inventory valuation and stock reconciliation
• Working closely with production and stores teams in a manufacturing setup.
