Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and balance sheet finalization.
• Coordinate internal and statutory audits; liaise with external auditors and address observations.
• Monitor manufacturing cost accounting, BOM reconciliation, and cost variance analysis.
• Ensure GST, TDS, TCS and local tax compliance are timely filed and accurate.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L, cash flow, and MIS reports.
• Perform complex vendor, bank, and customer ledger reconciliations.

Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager - Accounts

• Experience Required: 10 to 12 years
• Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Industrial
• Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra
• Core Focus: General Accounting, Auditing, Costing, Balan sheet and Tax Compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & General Ledger: Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, balance sheet finalization, and general ledger maintenance.
• Auditing: Coordinate and manage internal and statutory audits, liaise with external auditors, and clear audit observations efficiently.
• Manufacturing/Cost Accounting (Preferred): Track inventory valuation, monitor production cost variances, and manage bill of materials (BOM) reconciliation.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely filing and compliance with GST, TDS, TCS, and other local/corporate tax laws.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L statements, cash flow statements, and financial MIS reports.
• Reconciliations: Review complex vendor, bank, and customer ledger reconciliations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s in Commerce (B.Com) or Master’s in Commerce (M.Com) / MBA in Finance; professional certifications like CA (Inter), CMA, or CPA are a strong plus.
• Experience: Minimum 10–12 years of hands-on accounting and audit exposure, ideally in a manufacturing plant or industrial setup in and around Nagpur’s industrial belts
• Technical Software: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP FICO, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and enterprise accounting packages like Tally Prime.
• Excel Skills: Expert-level MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial data analysis ).
