Job summary

Shashwath Solution in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and month- and year-end processes. The role includes handling accounts payable/receivable, cash/bank books, and general ledger, as well as payroll and statutory compliance work.

The candidate should have strong GST/tax filing experience, a minimum of 4 years in accounting, and excellent English, Hindi, and Kannada communication; additional Indian languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• B.Com graduate with CA advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accountancy; audit firm experience is advantageous.
• Good command over English, Hindi and Kannada; other Indian languages are a plus.
• Experience in Statutory Compliances (Direct and Indirect Taxes).
• Willingness to learn and adapt; ability to act competently when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and month-/year-end processes.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable; cash and bank books; general ledger.
• Handle payroll, statutory compliance work incl. GST and VAT filings; coordinate audits.

• To Monitor, Track and Supervise day to day account related activities .
• To Implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information

Eligibility Criteria :

• B.Com Graduate and CA [ Advantage] .
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accountancy, it is advantageous to have worked in an audit firm .
• Good Command over English, Hindi and Kannada.
• Other Indian Languages like Tamil/Telegu would be an added advantage .
• Has Experience in Statutory Compliances i.e Direct and Indirect Taxes .
• Must have a strong desire to learn and ability to adapt .
• Ability to act competently when necessarily

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: Month and end-year process .
• Accounts payable/receivable .
• Cash and Bank Books .
• General ledger .
• Payroll and utilities .
• Statutory Compliance work:
• GST 1, GSTR 2B reconcillation , GSTR 3B , GSTR 9 .
• Organized maintenance of accounts .
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Payment related activities .
