Job summary

Sony Pictures Networks India is seeking a Senior Artist – Studio Graphics to create immersive virtual sets and real-time environments using Unreal Engine 5. You will translate creative briefs into dynamic digital environments and collaborate with production teams to deliver production-ready assets.

The role requires strong artistic vision with technical expertise in environment design, lighting, 3D assets and real-time rendering, plus familiarity with blueprint workflows and virtual production

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Unreal Engine and environment art.
• Proficient with Unreal Engine 5 features (Nanite, Lumen, Sequencer).
• Strong knowledge of PBR workflows, materials and asset optimization.
• Experience with real-time rendering and virtual production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop realistic and stylized virtual sets, environments and scenes using Unreal Engine 5.

• Explore new Unreal Engine and virtual production technologies to enhance creative workflows.

We're looking for a Senior Artist – Studio Graphics to create immersive virtual sets and real-time environments using Unreal Engine 5.

What We’re Looking For

• 8–10 years of experience in Unreal Engine, environment art, set development or related areas.
• Advanced proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, including Nanite, Lumen, Sequencer and World Building tools.
• Strong experience in environment design, level building, 3D modelling, texturing, lighting and real-time rendering.
• Knowledge of PBR workflows, materials, shaders and asset optimization.
• Experience with tools such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max or Cinema 4D.
• Understanding of Blueprints and virtual production workflows.
• Experience in broadcast, advertising, gaming, virtual production or digital content is a plus.
• Strong creative problem-solving, collaboration and attention to detail.
