Job summary

Gujarat International Finance Tec City (GIFT) invites applications for a contract role to supervise security personnel at GIFT City, Gandhinagar. The incumbent will oversee security operations during duty periods, enforce SOPs, manage access control, and coordinate with emergency services.

Candidate should be a Graduate with Defence/CAPF background, having at least 10 years in defence/CAPF and a minimum of 3 years in a corporate setting, with age up to 50.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations during duty period and supervise deployed security personnel.
• Ensure adherence to duty rosters, SOPs and post instructions.
• Conduct surveillance and patrolling of GIFT City.
• Manage access control for employees, visitors, vendors and vehicles; prevent unauthorized entry.
• Handle incident management such as theft, trespassing, fire, and public disturbances.
• Coordinate with police, fire, ambulance, and emergency teams.

Job description

Objective of Role

To ensure effective security operations and safety management at GIFT City through supervision of security personnel, surveillance, access control, and incident response.

The role also focuses on maintaining discipline, coordinating emergency services, managing VIP/events operations, and ensuring compliance with established security protocols.

Position type

on contract for a period 3 years from the date of joining, extendable based on organization needs and candidates performance.

Pay Band

• In the pay-scale of Rs.29,200-92,300 as per 7th CPC

Qualifications

• Graduate with Defence / CAPF background

Experience

• Officer / Subordinate officer / JCO or Senior NCO from defence / CAPF with minimum 10 years of service. Minimum 3 years of experience in any corporate firm age up to 50 years.
