Job Role and Responsibilityas per instructions of DGS for "Resident Engineer Officer" designation for Presea MTIs. Involves teaching and administration responsibilities. Customary practices of Higher Education Organisations and directives of the Ministry of Shipping, Ministry of Human Resource Department and GoI apply.

Three Types of Roles and Payment (Payment varies with Role):

1. Permanent Full time - Minimum 2 Years in Employment Contract - Rs. 1,00,000 / Month onwards
2. Contractual Engagement - Minimum Duration: 6 months contract - Rs. 80,000 / Month onwards
3. Visiting Faculty - Minimum 15 Days - Rs. 1000/ Hour onwards

Travel Expenses and Leave Policy

For professionals from nearby areas, Saturday and Sundays off with Diesel allowance of Rs. 3000 for driving home for the weekend. (includes mandatory CL/SL). Those from non motorable distance can claim 1st Class A/C train tickets as reimbursement.

For professional from long distance areas, weekly holiday and other leaves can be clubbed and availed together as 7 days a month. Flight ticket expenses borne by college once every two months for trip home towards availing two months holiday simultaneously.
