Overview

SGVU is searching for a meticulous and data-driven SEO Specialist to lead our organic search efforts from our Jaipur campus. You will be responsible for implementing and managing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve our search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and ultimately boost student enrollment. This is a hands-on role where you will be instrumental in optimizing our website, content, and overall online visibility. You will work closely with our content, development, and digital marketing teams to ensure all online properties are optimized for maximum search performance. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing data, identifying growth opportunities, and adapting to the ever-evolving search engine landscape to help SGVU maintain its position as a top educational institution.

Responsibilities

Execute SEO strategies: develop and execute both on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings and improve overall website performance.
Conduct keyword research: perform in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-impact, relevant keywords and expand our reach to prospective students.
Optimize on-page elements: ensure all website content, including meta titles, headers, and images, is fully optimized for search engines and user experience.
Manage off-page SEO: plan and implement link-building campaigns and off-page activities to increase domain authority and referral traffic.
Perform technical SEO: conduct regular technical audits to identify and fix issues related to site architecture, crawlability, and site speed.
Analyze and report: use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor key SEO metrics, provide performance reports, and offer actionable insights.
Stay updated: monitor search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate cross-functionally: work closely with the content team to guide SEO-friendly content creation and with the development team to ensure best practices are implemented during site updates.
