Job summary

Kuhoo Finance, a fintech micro-lender in India, is seeking a motivated Scrum Master to empower engineering teams as they scale AI-driven education financing platforms.

You will coach cross-functional squads, facilitate ceremonies, and help deliver value with transparency and agility. The role offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment where accountability and continuous improvement are valued.

Qualifications

• Aspiring Scrum Masters with strong interest in Agile project management and facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Scrum Master for Scrum Teams: support the Engineering Lead in stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Managing Sprint: plan and run Sprint, manage boards, releasing sprint to prod and retrospectives.
• Improve Team’s Efficiency: identify inefficiencies and remove impediments to progress.
• Promote Agile Mindset: coach team for self-organisation and cross-functionality.
• Create Safe Environments: foster psychologically safe environments for teams.
• Scrum Master for Multiple Teams: act as Scrum Master for cross-functional teams implementing new functionalities.

Your key responsibilities

• Scrum Master for Scrum Teams: Support the Engineering Lead in facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Managing Sprint: You will be responsible for planning and running Sprint, managing boards, releasing sprint to prod and doing retrospective meetings at the end of every sprint.
• Improve Team’s Efficiency: Continuously help the team to enhance their incremental delivery of value to clients and stakeholders. Identify inefficiencies in the team’s operation and proactively remove impediments to the team's progress.
• Promote Agile Mindset: Live and promote an agile mindset and culture within the team. Act as a coach and facilitator within the team for self-organisation and cross-functionality.
• Create Safe Environments: Create psychologically safe environments for teams, enabling them to own their outcomes, surface dependencies & risks and escalatory timely manner.
• Scrum Master for Multiple Teams: Act as the Scrum Master for multiple teams, both being cross-functional agile teams working on implementing new functionalities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Aspiring Scrum Masters with a strong interest in Agile project management and team facilitation.

• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, B.E., or equivalent) in any specialization.
• Scrum certifications such as PSM, CSM, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
