ABB Motion in Bangalore, India seeks a procurement professional with 2–4 years of Procure to Pay experience to oversee purchasing, supplier onboarding, and contract adherence. You will support negotiations, bid analysis, and supplier performance management in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Role requires engineering background, adherence to ABB values, and compliance with internal policies. This onsite position offers growth within the procurement team of ABB Motion in India.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Procure to Pay.
• Engineering degree with good supply chain management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and ensure compliance of purchasing and logistics activities.
• Identify suppliers and coordinate with category team and supplier quality/engineering specialists.
• Negotiate agreements and renew price lists, terms and conditions.
• Analyse bids to determine optimal value and support sales teams with market information.
• Track goods receipt and supplier performance to ensure delivery and invoice accuracy.
• Initiate supply orders and monitor supplier performance against PO requirements.

Follows the process to qualify new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.Negotiations Supports in negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions and feeds back recommendations for appropriate actions.Contracts Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management, ensures approved contractual terms in execution. Bid analysis Analyses and evaluates bids within the scope, in order to determine the optimal value.Sales support Supports bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information within the area of responsibility.
