Job summary

ABB Nashik is seeking a skilled Electrical engineering graduate to drive material purchasing for the Electrification business. You will manage requisitions, supplier selection, and frame agreements in alignment with corporate policies, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.

You will work closely with a category team to optimize costs and supply reliability. The role requires hands-on SAP PO creation, supplier follow-up, and proactive inventory planning to match the manufacturing schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical engineering (should be full-time).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in procurement of electrical commodities such as MCBs, auxiliary relays, contactors, meters, relays, CTs, PTs, Ethernet switches/converters, etc.
• Hands-on SAP PO creation and supplier follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Initiate purchase orders in the system according to requisitions.
• Confirm delivery with suppliers, monitor and track supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and renew price lists and terms and conditions.
• Analyzing bids to determine the optimal value.
• Recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval.
