With 5+ years in quality management, you will drive root-cause analyses, train teams, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to release compliant products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Operational Excellence within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 systems.
• Advanced knowledge of quality tools, data analysis, and digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ISO 9001 standards and test methods to ensure compliant products.
• Lead continuous improvement of the QMS and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform root-cause analyses and drive effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Implementation, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure quality across the lifecycle.
• Provide quality-related training and promote a culture of integrity and results.

You will collaborate with teams in Implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System,The work model for the role is: #Li_OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India:You will be mainly accountable for:Conducting test protocols, as assigned, to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T.) as applicable.Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable in the local organization.Effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with organizational, customer, and regulatory requirements.Executing and assisting specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.Collecting, recording, and evaluating data to be interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable national and/or global standards while maintaining a high level of integrity.Works in close collaboration to resolve the problems and ensures they are fully addressed by following robust root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.Ensuring adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB.Demonstrating an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality tools, and manufacturing processes, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.You have 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Operational Excellence within a manufacturing environment, including experience with ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance.You possess advanced knowledge of quality management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to leverage digital solutions to improve quality performance.You are passionate about continuous improvement, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and driving a culture of quality excellence across the organization.You hold a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering,You are at ease communicating effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage colleagues across all organizational levels.More about usABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions and related services to industrial customers to increase energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes.
