Ubuntu Ideas Pvt Ltd (Education Decision) is an education company recognised in the HolonIQ South Asia EdTech 100 (2025). The company runs the Career Ready India Initiative (CRII), a national programme that gives schools career guidance for students from Grade 8 to Grade 12 at no cost to the school. CRII includes psychometric assessments, career counselling, classroom career education content, career readiness books and an information platform on courses, colleges and careers.

Role Overview

The School Relations Executive calls school principals across India to schedule meetings with the CRII team, take RSVPs for events, and keep principals updated on programme developments.

Responsibilities

• Call principals from the school database, introduce CRII and schedule meetings or school visits with the CRII team.
• Send meeting confirmations and reminders, and reschedule when either side is unavailable.
• Invite principals to conclaves and other events, take RSVPs, and reconfirm attendance in the days before each event.
• Call principals with programme updates and upcoming activities.
• Follow up on brochures, invitations and documents sent on WhatsApp or email, including MOUs pending signature.
• Answer calls and messages from schools. Pass questions that need the programme team to the right person and call the principal back with the answer.
• Record the outcome and next action of every call, and keep the school database accurate, current and confidential.
• Send a daily report of calls made, meetings fixed and RSVPs received.

• RSVPs received, and actual attendance at each event.
• Follow-ups completed on the agreed dates.
• Accuracy of call records and the school database.

Requirements

• Background in tele-calling, inside sales or customer relations. Experience of calling schools, colleges or senior professionals is an advantage.
• Fluent spoken English and Hindi. Marathi or another regional language is an advantage.
• A courteous, professional manner with senior people, and the ability to introduce the programme and make the request within a short call.
• Clear written English for WhatsApp messages and emails.
• Comfortable with a high daily call volume, including repeat calls to reach principals.
• Working knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel. CRM experience is an advantage.
