Job summary

Logic Planet is seeking an experienced SAP VIM Technical Consultant/Lead to deliver and optimize OpenText VIM-based Source-to-Pay solutions within a SAP S/4HANA environment. You will drive ABAP development, workflows, and integrations while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders.

The role requires 6–12 years of hands-on SAP VIM and ABAP experience, with strong knowledge of OpenText VIM, SAP S/4HANA, and related processes in Accounts Payable and Procurement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Translate Source-to-Pay requirements into technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and implement ABAP enhancements, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
• Contribute to solution architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for developments.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot SAP VIM/ABAP issues.
• Drive continuous improvements, performance optimization, and governance.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP VIM Technical Consultant with strong expertise in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and SAP ABAP development within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the enhancement, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP VIM solutions while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions.

This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP technologies, including ABAP development, workflows, integrations, and S/4HANA architecture, along with a functional understanding of Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Invoice Management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Vendor Invoice Management (OpenText VIM) within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• Lead the enhancement, support, maintenance, and optimization of SAP VIM applications and related SAP solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand Source-to-Pay (S2P) requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze business challenges and propose scalable solutions across SAP S/4HANA applications.
• Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP enhancements, custom developments, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations for new initiatives and enhancements.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for developments and system improvements.
• Support invoice processing, exception handling, workflow configuration, and AP automation initiatives within VIM.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and SAP functional consultants.
• Conduct impact analysis, effort estimation, code reviews, testing support, and deployment activities.
• Ensure adherence to modern software engineering practices, automation standards, and SAP best practices.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to SAP VIM and ABAP applications.
• Drive continuous improvements, performance optimization, and application governance activities.
