Persistent Systems is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead large-scale SAP implementation, migration, rollout, and transformation programs. You will manage the complete SAP project lifecycle with governance, risk mitigation, and delivery excellence.

This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional SAP team management, and a track record of delivering complex SAP programs on time and within budget.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead large-scale SAP implementation, migration, rollout, and transformation programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete SAP project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, governance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and execution excellence. What You'll Do:

• Lead SAP project delivery and support operations across multiple business functions and SAP modules.
• Manage SAP ECC environments with strong focus on APO, GTS, and related enterprise applications.
• Drive TSA Exit, carve-out, transition, and post-transition support activities.
• Coordinate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and leadership stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prioritize project activities and ensure successful completion of milestones within agreed timelines.
• Manage and track project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) defect resolution activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Support cutover planning, deployment activities, hypercare support, and stabilization efforts.
• Establish and implement governance processes, project reporting, and operational controls.
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of support tickets and operational issues.
• Allocate tasks effectively across SAP teams and monitor overall service delivery performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and business teams on SAP-related initiatives.
• Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and business transformation programs.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, service level agreements, and governance frameworks.
• Mentor team members and provide technical and functional guidance when required.
• Support resource planning, capacity management, and team performance management activities.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 12 to 16 years of experience in SAP Project Management, SAP Delivery Management, or SAP Program Management.
• Strong expertise across SAP ECC and enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP APO and SAP GTS implementations, enhancements, and support activities.
• Proven experience managing SAP carve-out, transition, TSA Exit, and stabilization projects.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large SAP teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience establishing and managing SAP Run Organizations and support models.
• Excellent understanding of SAP support processes, issue management, and operational governance.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align SAP solutions to business objectives.
• Experience managing SAP users, roles, authorizations, and support operations.
• Strong project planning, execution, resource allocation, and risk management expertise.
• Experience working with executive leadership, business users, and global stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive issue resolution, defect management, and continuous service improvement.
• Experience supporting SAP upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in complex and fast-paced enterprise environments.
