Job summary

Wsne Consulting seeks an experienced SAP Project Manager to drive SAP implementation and transformation initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, budgets, and timelines, and coordinate SAP consultants across multiple vendors and countries.

Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential. 8–12 years total experience with at least 3 years in project management, with end-to-end SAP implementation exposure on S/4HANA and ECC.

• Certifications like PMP/Agile/Scrum Master/Prince2 preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive SAP implementation and transformation projects aligned with customer organization

• Prepare status reports and escalate to management; conduct steering meetings

Job description

The team

The primary role of the SAP Project Manager will be to drive SAP Implementation & Transformation projects aligned with aligned with customer's Project/Product organization and/or relative IT/Business organization. For driving individual project, you will execute project management works such as Issue/Time/Cost/Risk/Communication/Quality/Resource/Session Managements. Responsible to lead project teams to develop and launch new product initiatives. Project Manager will plan and manage multiple related projects including, cost/benefit analysis, estimation of budgets, timelines, and resources required for successful and timely completion of projects. The SAP Project Manager will also assist in the development of measurement processes/methods for assessing progress towards goals and project outcomes.

Your work profile

• Understand the customer's requirements, business processes and solution landscape.
• Create detailed project plans and execute them
• Understand SAP project methodology and premium engagements services and drive adoption
• Coordinate involvement of SAP consultants and support resources and lead them in project
• Properly make reports and escalation to management or executive level
• Manage project scope, resources, budget, schedule to ensure that the project team members are meeting the deadlines and following the guidelines.
• Should have strong critical-thinking capabilities to solve problems and think about wide-ranging issues and facilitate decisions.
• Should be able to direct, manage and motivate the project team in multi-vendor and multi country environment.
• Handle the escalations and conflict within the project team.
• Have good working experience in stakeholder management, change management, communication plan, risk and mitigation, implementation, and cutover plan.
• Prepare Project status updates based on the stakeholders, handle Steering Meetings, Phase exits and Project meetings.

Key skills required

• Overall 8-12 years of experience of which minimum 3 years should have been in project management
• Proven experience in leading SAP Implementation projects (should have handled at least 2 implementations end to end)
• MUST have strong Functional knowledge in any of the SAP Modules like FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM. EXCLUDE people with experience in ABAP, BASIS, BO, BW and HCM
• MUST have worked on SAP S/4 HANA and ECC
• Should have strong project management skills
• MUST have worked with MNCs/International clients as well
• Experience in Project Management Tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal & presentation skills
• Certifications like PMP/Agile/Scrum Master/Prince2 is preferred.
• Good leadership, inter-personal and motivational skills
• Experience in Cloud solutions

• Activate Methodology experience
• Bachelors in engineering (preferably Computer Science) or equivalent
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Knowledge and experience of other agile, lean and DevOps approaches (e.g., XP, Kanban, TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, etc.)
