Job summary

Ascendra Consulting in Kolkata is seeking a skilled SAP PP/QM Consultant to implement, enhance, and support SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver SAP solutions aligned with organizational goals.

You will configure PP/QM modules, define QM processes including inspections, and participate in planning, testing, and documentation to ensure successful implementations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SAP PP and QM modules to optimize production planning and quality management processes.
• Provide expertise in SAP PP functionalities including demand management, material requirements planning (MRP), production orders, capacity planning, and shop floor control.
• Define and implement quality management processes including inspection planning, quality notifications, inspections, and control.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and recommend SAP solutions.
• Participate in project planning, scoping, estimation, and execution phases.
• Conduct testing, training, and documentation activities to support SAP PP/QM implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP PP/QM configuration and functionality.
• Stay updated with SAP latest developments and technologies to provide innovative solutions and best practices.
