Job summary

Techstar Group is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant in Hyderabad to lead and support SAP PP and QM modules across implementations and ongoing support. The role focuses on production planning, quality management, and integrated processes with MM, SD, and FI/CO.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on configuration, testing, and production support experience, plus strong requirement gathering and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and SAP QM.
• Experience in PP-QM integration with MM, SD and FI/CO.
• Experience in MRP, Production Orders, BOM, Routing, Work Centers.
• Experience in Quality Inspection, Inspection Lots, MIC, and Usage Decision.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
• Good understanding of integration with SAP MM, SD and FI/CO.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP PP and QM modules.
• Handle business processes related to Production Planning, MRP, Production Orders, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and Capacity Planning.
• Configure QM processes including Inspection Plans, Inspection Lots, MICs, Quality Notifications, and Usage Decisions.
• Work on PP-QM integration and integration with MM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test cases, and user documentation.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production support.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and other functional consultants.
• Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support activities.
• Support data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
