Job summary

Signify in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned SAP EWM specialist to design and optimize warehouse management solutions. You will collaborate with global teams to align EWM with the S/4 HANA template and support a local rollout, balancing Incident management with proactive enhancements.

The role requires hands-on SAP EWM experience, knowledge of inbound/outbound, RF, slotting, and integration with MM/SD/PP/FI, plus agile ways of working and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Significant hands‑on experience in SAP EWM implementation and/or support.
• Strong functional understanding of EWM-specific processes including Deconsolidation, Kitting, Shipping Cockpit, and Mobile Data Entry (RF).
• Experience in global application maintenance or production support with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP EWM within global template and local rollout, aligned to S/4 HANA implementation.
• Provide end‑to‑end functional support across core EWM processes (Inbound/Outbound, RF, Warehouse Task/Order, Yard Management).
• Manage incident resolution, service requests, defects, and RCA in line with SLAs.
• Conduct impact analysis and testing for warehouse changes and enhancements.
• Ensure integration with MM, SD, PP, FI and other domains.

Job Summary

Designs and optimizes digital services to meet user requirements. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions. Analyzes system performance and implements improvements to enhance functionality.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Support Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Business Process Owners, key users and project teams in maintaining SAP EWM solutions aligned to the global template and deploying the global S/4 HANA implementation on a local level.
• Provide expert functional support across core EWM processes including Inbound/Outbound Processing, RF Framework, Warehouse Task/Order management, Internal Warehouse Movements, Physical Inventory, and Yard Management.
• Manage specialized EWM functions such as Slotting, Wave Management, and Production Integration.
• Provide end-to-end functional support in an AMS environment including incident management, service requests, defect resolution and root cause analysis in line with agreed service levels.
• Conduct impact analysis and testing to support quality delivery of warehouse-specific changes and enhancements.
• Support EWM processes with strong integration across Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Reporting domains.
• Monitor warehouse system performance, operational issues and user feedback to ensure stable and efficient day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Support critical warehouse cycles including peak season fulfilment, inventory counting, and year-end close, ensuring continuity and timely issue resolution.
• Provide user support, functional guidance and knowledge sharing to enable consistent adoption of EWM best practices.

Critical Experiences

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Significant hands‑on experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) implementation and/or support.
• Strong functional understanding of EWM‑specific processes including Deconsolidation, Kitting, Shipping Cockpit, and Mobile Data Entry (RF).
• Experience working in a global application maintenance support or production support environment including stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience in EWM system enhancements, incident resolution, problem management, testing and delivery of supportable business solutions.
• Experience supporting critical warehouse operations including period‑end inventory reconciliations.
• Good understanding of integration points with adjacent business domains and SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FI).
• Good understanding of Agile / Scrum ways of working and service management practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• SAP certification in EWM is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, complex and highly integrated business environment.
