Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in India seeks an SAP CS functional consultant to manage service orders, contracts, and billing workflows. You will configure DIP profiles, monitor status frameworks, and coordinate with SD/MM/FICO teams for revenue recognition and cost allocation.

Responsibilities include creating specs, test scripts, and end-user training, plus hands-on execution of core billing transactions DP90/DP91/DP93/DP97. Experience with UAT and hypercare is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of hands-on functional consulting experience in SAP CS (Customer Service).
• Strong functional knowledge of service contracts, service orders, repair orders, and quotations.
• In-depth expertise in Resource-Related Billing (RRB) and DIP Profile customizing.
• Proven proficiency with core transactions: DP90, DP91, DP93, and DP97.
• Solid grasp of SAP pricing procedures, billing document types, and status management frameworks.
• Experience in conducting integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and hypercare support.

Responsibilities

• Service Order and Contract Management: Configure and maintain SAP Service Orders, Service Contracts, warranties, and service notifications across their complete lifecycles.


• Status Management: Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot standard and user-defined service order status profiles to streamline business workflows.


• Resource-Related Billing (RRB): Design, configure, and execute resource-related billing workflows based on actual time, material, and expense postings.


• DIP Profile Configuration: Maintain Dynamic Item Processor (DIP) profiles, including characteristics, sources, selection criteria, and material determination.


• Cross-Module Integration: Collaborate closely with SD, MM, and FICO teams to ensure seamless revenue recognition, pricing determination, and cost allocation.


• User Support and Documentation: Create functional specifications, test scripts, user manuals, and deliver end-user training.

Transaction Execution and Support: Actively manage and support core billing transaction codes, including:

• DP90: Individual debit memo request creation based on sales orders/service orders.


• DP91: Sales pricing and quotation generation for service activities.


• DP93: Resource-related billing for intercompany debit/credit memos.


• DP97: Background and mass processing for collective billing runs.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of hands-on functional consulting experience in SAP CS (Customer Service).


• Strong functional knowledge of service contracts, service orders, repair orders, and quotations.


• In-depth expertise in Resource-Related Billing (RRB) and DIP Profile customizing.


• Proven proficiency with core transactions: DP90, DP91, DP93, and DP97.


• Solid grasp of SAP pricing procedures, billing document types, and status management frameworks.


• Experience in conducting integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and hypercare support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) experience is a strong bonus (specifically around Order-to-Cash integration, delivery processing, and SD pricing).


• Hands-on experience or exposure to SAP S/4HANA Service or Service in S/4HANA Cloud.


• Familiarity with ABAP debugging for troubleshooting custom routines, user exits, and BAPIs.
