Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a Salesforce Project Manager to lead complex Salesforce initiatives in India. The role requires 10+ years in IT and 3+ years managing Salesforce projects, with deep knowledge of Salesforce offerings and client discovery processes.

You will collaborate with the Technical Lead, drive sprint ceremonies, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery while maintaining strong client relationships throughout and after project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT industry.
• 3+ years of experience in handling Salesforce projects.
• Good understanding of the Salesforce platform and product offerings.
• Participate in client discovery sessions with technical and functional teams to identify solutions.
• Work with Technical Lead to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Team enablement: ensure tools, sandboxes, and licenses are available.
• Sprint planning and agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and demos.
• Risk management: identify and mitigate risks, control deviations from schedule/costs.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, burn and status reports, and change orders.
• Forecasting project resources according to the approved budget.

Job Title / Position: Salesforce Project Manager
Experience: 10 - 12 years
Location: Bengaluru / Pune / Noida

• 10+ years of experience in IT industry
• 3+ years of experience in handling Salesforce projects
• Good understanding of the Salesforce platform and product offerings
• Participate in client discovery sessions working with technical and functional team members to identify the right solution for each client
• Work closely with the Technical Lead to ensure the business requirements are accurately translated into technical requirements, and the team has all the information required to action
• Team enablement - confirm the technical team has all the technical tools required to start work (Sandboxes, Licenses, etc.)
• Sprint planning - manage scrum/agile ceremonies, including huddles, backlog grooming, increment planning, retrospectives and sprint demos (when applicable to the consultancy's delivery methodology)
• Risk management - identify and mitigate risks or issues on a project-by-project basis, implementing strategies to minimize impact to the project, controlling deviations from the project schedule and estimated costs
• Prepare and manage project schedules, burn reports, status reports and change orders
• Report on the status of the project to internal management and the client management team, including escalating issues where appropriate
• Maintain accurate forecasting for project resources according to the approved budget
• Certified PMP or in agile methodologies
• Build and maintain relationships with clients day-to-day, exceeding client expectations and ensuring satisfaction
• Support clients throughout the project and post-project implementation process.
