Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Presales Consultant / Solution Architect to drive presales activities, design Salesforce-based solutions, and support business development through client presentations, solution demonstrations, and technical proposals. The ideal candidate should have strong Salesforce CRM knowledge, solution design capabilities, and experience in client-facing presales or consulting roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client business requirements and translate them into Salesforce-based solutions.
• Design high-level Salesforce solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Lead presales activities, including requirement discovery, solution presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
• Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution documents, effort estimates, and implementation approaches.
• Collaborate with sales, business development, delivery, and technical teams to develop customized solutions.
• Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce products.
• Recommend Salesforce configurations, customizations, integrations, and automation solutions.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and implementation risks.
• Support proof of concepts (POCs), solution walkthroughs, and client workshops.
• Explain Salesforce platform capabilities, integration options, security considerations, and scalability to clients.
• Support sales teams in client negotiations and technical objection handling.
• Stay updated on Salesforce platform developments, products, and emerging AI capabilities.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Salesforce presales, solution consulting, technical consulting, or solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce CRM ecosystem and platform capabilities.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; knowledge of Experience Cloud is an advantage.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modelling, security, automation, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, solution designs, effort estimates, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and cost-effective technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating with sales and delivery teams in an IT services or consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Administrator, Consultant, or Architect certifications.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect certification is an advantage.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, or AI-driven CRM solutions is desirable.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MCA, M.Tech, or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
