Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to own the technical design and architecture for customer project delivery in a demanding, consultative role. You will define scalable patterns, review approaches for feasibility and security, and standardise implementation practices across Salesforce projects.

You will also mentor junior specialists, design architecture diagrams, and stay current with Salesforce updates to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 5 years designing solutions on Salesforce.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce data model, standard/custom objects, governor limits, sharing and security model, and declarative-first architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and Salesforce REST, Bulk, and Streaming APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own solution design, technical reviews, and architecture decisions across Salesforce implementations.
• Review technical approaches and validate solution feasibility, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Standardise recurring customisations into reusable templates, accelerators, and implementation patterns.
• Define and maintain Salesforce best practices and enforce them through technical reviews.
• Design standardised approaches for Salesforce upgrades and complex customer implementations.
• Identify product gaps and translate them into clear technical requirements for Engineering and Product teams.
• Promote reusable and repeatable implementation patterns across the Conversive platform.
• Conduct technical reviews as coaching sessions to raise the technical capability of O&I specialists.
• Mentor junior specialists and interns during their initial implementations.
• Create solution architecture diagrams and technical design documents for major projects.
• Conduct at least one technical knowledge-sharing session each month.
• Own the technical quality and reliability of solutions delivered to customers.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, API deprecations, platform changes, and emerging implementation practices.
• Proactively recommend solutions and improvements rather than only identifying technical issues.

Own the technical design and architecture behind customer project delivery. You will also act as the technical bridge between Delivery, Engineering, Product, and implementation teams.

What will qualify you for this role?

Must-Have

• 10–12 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 5 years designing solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce data model, standard/custom objects, governor limits, sharing and security model, and declarative-first architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and Salesforce REST, Bulk, and Streaming APIs.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Managed Packages, including installation, upgrades, namespace constraints, and upgrade-related challenges.
• Proven ability to convert recurring custom requirements into reusable templates, accelerators, or product capabilities.
• Experience conducting technical reviews and providing clear, constructive feedback to technical and delivery teams.
• Strong documentation skills, including solution design documents, gap specifications, and architecture diagrams.

Strongly Preferred

• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification, or relevant domain certifications such as Integration Architecture, Data Architecture, Sharing & Visibility, or Platform Developer II.
• Experience working with another CRM such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with CTI/telephony integrations such as RingCentral, Twilio, Genesys, or Talkdesk.
• Experience with messaging channels including WhatsApp Business API and web chat.
• Practical experience designing LLM-based agent solutions, including knowledge bases, conversation routing, journey orchestration, and context management across agents.
• Exposure to regulated-industry requirements such as healthcare data handling, HIPAA, consent management, and messaging opt-out compliance.
• Strong architectural judgment with a practical, delivery-focused approach.
• Comfortable challenging one-off solutions and advocating for scalable standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to influence technical decisions without relying solely on authority.
• Passionate about mentoring, knowledge sharing, and raising engineering standards.
• Customer-focused with strong ownership of solution quality and reliability.
• Proactive in identifying risks, proposing solutions, and improving implementation practices.
