Qualifications

• Experience with field operations, asset management, and mobile sync workflows.

Responsibilities

• Configure core SFS elements: Service Resources, Skills, Hours, Territories, Work Order structures.
• Optimize Dispatcher Console with scheduling policies, routing rules, and service objectives.
• Develop custom configurations for the Salesforce Field Service Mobile App (offline layouts, actions, flows).
• Build programmatic solutions using Apex, batch jobs, and LWC for complex scheduling logic.
• Manage inventory modules: requests, transfers, stock locations, returns.
• Collaborate with operations/dispatch to reduce travel time and improve FTF rates.
• Support end-to-end testing: offline simulation, run validation, production deployment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Field Service Specialist to optimize and scale our mobile workforce operations. The ideal candidate will configure smart scheduling policies, customize work order flows, and build automated processes to streamline field dispatching, asset tracking, and mobile app usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize core SFS elements, including Service Resource profiles, Skills, Operating Hours, Service Territories, and Work Order hierarchies.
  
• Optimize the Dispatcher Console by setting up advanced Scheduling Policies, Routing Rules, Service Objectives, and Work Rules.
  
• Build and deploy custom configurations for the Salesforce Field Service Mobile App , including offline layouts, quick actions, and automated flows.
  
• Develop programmatic solutions using Apex triggers, batch classes, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to handle complex, bespoke scheduling logic.
  
• Manage inventory tracking modules, configuring product requests, transfers, stock locations, and return orders.
  
• Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to reduce travel time, improve first-time fix rates, and automate preventive maintenance schedules.
  
• Support end-to-end testing, including mobile offline simulation, optimization run validation, and production deployment.
  

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of core Salesforce development and configuration experience, with 3+ dedicated years delivering Salesforce Field Service solutions.
  
• Strong proficiency in SFS scheduling optimization engine configurations alongside standard declarative features (Flows) and Apex scripting.
  
• Deep understanding of field operations, asset management, preventative maintenance lifecycles, and mobile sync behaviors.
  
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification.
  
• Prior consulting experience managing global field operations with complex shifts, multi-level resource skills, and high volume dispatch volumes.
