Job summary

Absyz Software Consulting in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with Field Service expertise to deliver end-to-end implementations. The role involves hands-on development using Lightning Web Components and Apex, along with integrating third-party systems as needed.

The ideal candidate will lead small to mid-sized Salesforce projects, collaborate with SMEs and client stakeholders, and ensure documentation and best practices are followed throughout the delivery cycle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building Lightning Web Components and Apex code.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model: Work Orders, Service Appointments, Workforce objects, and scheduling entities.
• Experience leading small/mid-sized Salesforce implementation projects as technical lead.

Responsibilities

• 3 years experience in Salesforce Field Service.

• Spearhead small and mid-sized projects as a technical lead and Point of Contact for clients.

• Engage with SMEs and IT personnel to fulfill Salesforce implementation tasks.
• Deliver results working with delivery partners, customer teams, and AppExchange vendors.
• Guide and supervise juniors in the team.
• Troubleshoot roadblocks in implementations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 3 years experience in Salesforce Field Service
• Proficient in Field Service basic data model, Work Orders objects, Workforce objects, Territory and Scheduling objects, Service Appointment objects
• Understanding of Skills, resources, Service Crews
• Understanding of Work Types, Work Plan Templates, Work Step Templates, Selection Rules
• Proficiency in various aspects of Scheduling Policy and Admin Settings
• Spearhead small and mid-sized projects as a technical lead and Point of Contact for clients
• Assist leads, architects and other stakeholders in understanding the requirements and solutioning
• Develop custom code, including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning web components, and Visualforce pages, to extend Salesforce functionality and meet business requirements.
• Engage closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and IT personnel to fulfill Salesforce implementation tasks according to requirements.
• Manage smaller Salesforce implementation projects or subsets of larger projects.
• Respond to a variety of broad questions and concerns from customer management regarding project requirements, technical standards, and conditions communicate the status of requests and determine the feasibility of projects.
• Maintain documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and system diagrams.
• Deliver results working with delivery partners, customer teams, and AppExchange vendors.
• Work under general direction and independently determine and develop an approach to solutions.
• Guide and supervise juniors in the team
• Troubleshoot roadblocks in implementations

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of different business processes
• Hands-on experience on building Lightning Web Components (LWC), writing Apex code (Triggers, Test class, Asynchronous apex etc.), building integrations with third-party systems using point-to-point connection as well via Middleware
• Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Must have worked on both Salesforce Configuration (Drag-and-drop tools) and Customizations (LWC, Apex etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and design simple and semi-complex solutions within a tight deadline.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies

Certifications:

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer-II (Mandatory if no expertise in niche areas**)
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer-I (Mandatory if having expertise in one of the niche areas**)
