Job summary

Valtech in Bengaluru is hiring a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Lead to own SFCC architecture and lead SFRA/PWA developers. You will translate roadmaps into technical designs and drive performance, security, and cross-border commerce considerations.

We require 8+ years of hands-on SFCC experience, strong English communication, and a growth mindset. The role offers hybrid/remote options with Bengaluru base and international mobility opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on architecture and development experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFRA).
• Experience designing integrations with PSPs, tax/fraud, PIM/DAM and ERP via middleware.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce performance, SEO and security in high-traffic contexts.
• Experience leading technical teams and release/deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the target SFCC architecture (cartridges, SFRA controllers/pipelines, OCAPI/SCAPI usage) in line with the applicative architecture.
• Translate roadmap items into technical solution designs.
• Lead and review development by SFRA and PWA/composable developers, enforcing coding standards, performance and security best practices.
• Own integration design between SFCC and PSP, tax/fraud, PIM, DAM, OMS/ERP and search providers via the middleware layer.
• Produce and validate technical estimates and impact analyses for evolutions and projects, including performance, security and multi-locale/cross-border considerations.
• Own environment strategy: sandbox/staging management, release pipelines, and performance/monitoring tooling.
• Perform code/design reviews before releases, ensuring quality gates, load/performance testing and security compliance are respected.
• Mentor developers and contribute to Division-level design authority and technical communities.
• Provide technical leadership during peak trading events (product launches, promotional campaigns, seasonal sales).

Role responsibilities

• Translate roadmap items (checkout revamp, hyper-personalization, PLP/PDP review, digital product passport, cross-border commerce) into technical solution designs
• Lead and review development delivered by SFRA and PWA/composable developers, enforcing coding standards, performance and security best practices
• Own integration design between SFCC and PSP, tax/fraud, PIM, DAM, OMS/ERP and search providers via the middleware layer
• Produce and validate technical estimates and impact analyses for evolutions and projects, including performance, security and multi-locale/cross-border considerations

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Strong hands-on architecture and development experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, including SFRA and composable/headless storefronts (PWA Kit or equivalent)
• Experience designing integrations with PSPs, tax/fraud services, PIM/DAM and OMS/ERP systems via middleware
• Strong understanding of eCommerce performance, SEO and security best practices in a high-traffic, revenue-critical context
• Experience leading technical teams and managing release/deployment processes for eCommerce platforms
• Ability to produce clear technical specifications, estimates and architecture documentation
• Excellent English communication skills; French or Italian an advantage

Nice to have qualifications

• Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Architect or Developer certification
• Experience with composable/headless commerce implementations (React-based storefronts)
• Experience with multi-country/cross-border eCommerce platforms
• Experience in luxury or retail omnichannel commerce environments
