Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.

Role Profile

We are seeking a highly capable Business Analyst to lead business analysis and structured validation activities across Salesforce, connected applications within the Business Operations function at LLI. The successful candidate will be a business-minded technology professional with excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and delivery skills.

The role is responsible for owning the end-to-end requirements process, from engaging stakeholders to understand business needs through to creating detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements and validation scenarios for developers and delivery teams. The position will support change across Salesforce and related applications, ensuring solutions are clearly defined, thoroughly validated, and aligned to business priorities before release.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements gathering for Salesforce and connected applications, working closely with stakeholders to understand business problems, priorities, and desired outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable requirements for Salesforce developers - ensuring scope, context, dependencies, and success measures are well understood.
• Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation to enable effective delivery.
• Develop a deep understanding of how the business operates, including commercial, customer, product, reporting, and operational processes, to ensure solutions are practical and business led.
• Champion agile ways of working, supporting effective backlog management, sprint planning, prioritisation, refinement, and continuous improvement of delivery practices.
• Collaborate with developers, platform owners, product stakeholders, Salesforce teams, data teams and BI Developers on solution scoping, feasibility, estimations, and delivery planning.
• Support stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring requirements remain visible, agreed changes are controlled, and delivered solutions meet the intended business need.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders during UAT, helping users understand test objectives, expected outcomes, and any known limitations.
• Validate Salesforce requirements post-development to ensure they operate as expected across relevant user journeys.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
• Strong experience gathering requirements, creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting delivery through agile ways of working.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage global team of business users, developers, and technology stakeholders effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop a detailed understanding of business processes, data flows, systems, and operational dependencies.
• Good understanding of agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, prioritisation, and iterative delivery.
• Experience working in subscription-based businesses, ideally within B2B SaaS, information services, media, maritime, or data-led organisations.

Desirable

• Salesforce Certifications including Business Analyst and/or Platform Administrator.
• IIBA BA certification would be advantageous (equivalent practical experience will be considered)
