Persistent is seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, Salesforce developers, and integration teams. The role focuses on translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions and delivering transformation initiatives across the organization.

• 10 to 17 years of experience in Salesforce analysis, business analysis, or implementations.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional solution design.
• Strong proficiency in user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and process mapping. Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery.

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, Salesforce developers, architects, and integration teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions while ensuring successful delivery of Salesforce transformation initiatives across the organization.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, process mapping, and impact assessments.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Analyze Salesforce platform capabilities and recommend standard or customized solutions.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Developers to ensure functional requirements are technically feasible and aligned with platform best practices.
• Support configuration decisions across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related Salesforce products.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement, automation, and platform optimization.
• Define data requirements, field mappings, validation rules, business rules, and reporting needs.
• Work with integration teams to define functional requirements for APIs, middleware, event-driven integrations, and system-to-system connectivity.
• Facilitate solution walkthroughs, stakeholder reviews, demonstrations, and design discussions.
• Prepare and execute functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and support defect resolution activities.
• Coordinate with technical teams to manage defects and ensure successful delivery of requirements.
• Support release planning, deployment validation, and post-production stabilization activities.Maintain functional documentation, process flows, requirements repositories, and knowledge assets.
• Serve as the bridge between business users and technical delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 10 to 17 years of experience in Salesforce Functional Analysis, Business Analysis, or Salesforce Implementations.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional solution design.
• Strong proficiency in user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and process mapping.Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Good understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities and platform functionality.
• Experience with functional testing, UAT planning, defect management, and release processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification or Salesforce Business Analyst Certification.
• Knowledge of Salesforce data models, security concepts, and platform best practices.
• Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, integration patterns, and data migration activities.
• Experience working with Jira, ServiceNow (SNOW), Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into simple and scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and enterprise-scale Salesforce programs.
• Excellent presentation, workshop facilitation, and requirement elicitation skills.
• Functional understanding of Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Components, and LWC.
• Experience working on large-scale global Salesforce transformation programs.
• Exposure to SAFe Agile or scaled Agile delivery frameworks.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration architectures and CRM transformation initiatives.
