Job summary

ANUDIP FOUNDATION is seeking a Sales Trainer – BFSI/NBFC to drive regional learning initiatives for the sales force. You will design and deliver training programs, partner with regional business teams, and translate field challenges into measurable business outcomes.

You will manage end-to-end learning interventions for secured lending, maintain training MIS, and collaborate with stakeholders to close capability gaps while driving productivity improvements.

Sales Trainer – BFSI / NBFC

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Trainer – BFSI/NBFC who can drive learning and development initiatives for the regional sales workforce. The role will involve delivering effective training programs, partnering closely with regional business teams, understanding field challenges, and translating learning interventions into measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute learning and training activities as per the defined Learning Architecture for the assigned region.
• Manage end-to-end learning interventions for the Secured Lending Business, based on business and capability requirements.
• Deliver engaging and effective sales training programs for FLS/FLM and other frontline sales teams.
• Maintain accurate and updated training records, MIS, dashboards, attendance and learning data.
• Manage relationships with key regional business stakeholders and ensure effective coordination for training interventions.
• Work closely with regional business teams to identify capability gaps and design appropriate learning interventions.
• Drive measurable impact on identified business and productivity metrics through joint interventions and productivity initiatives.
• Maintain regular connect with the FLS/FLM workforce to understand ground-level challenges, training requirements and areas of concern.
• Capture field feedback and insights and communicate key observations and recommendations to the Head Office (HO) through regular updates.
• Conduct on-field shadowing with sales teams to maintain a strong understanding of the business environment, customer interactions, sales processes and challenges faced by frontline teams.
• Identify recurring performance and capability gaps through field observation and recommend appropriate corrective training interventions.
• Support post-training governance by tracking training effectiveness, application of learning and business impact.
• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure training initiatives are aligned with regional sales objectives.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and introduce improvements based on learner and business feedback.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of BFSI / NBFC sales processes, preferably Secured Lending / Retail Lending.
• Excellent training delivery and facilitation skills.
• Strong understanding of frontline sales roles such as FLS / FLM.
• Good stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand business challenges and convert them into actionable learning interventions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track training and business impact metrics.
• Comfortable with field visits and on-ground sales team engagement.
• Good proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and training MIS/reporting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Sales Training / Learning & Development / Capability Building within BFSI, NBFC, Banking or Financial Services.
• Experience working with Secured Lending / Retail Lending / Branch Sales / Field Sales teams will be preferred.
• Prior experience in handling regional training responsibilities and working with multiple business stakeholders will be an advantage.
