Ciklum is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team full-time in India.
We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly execution-focused Sales Operations Analyst to own and scale deal desk, bookings, and contracting operations, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce data accuracy and DealHub workflows.
This role serves as a critical control point across the opportunity → booking → contract → renewal lifecycle, ensuring deals move efficiently from pipeline to closed revenue with high accuracy, speed, compliance, and cross-functional alignment.
A key component of this role is operational deal desk support during high-pressure selling and closing periods, including end-of-month (EOM), end-of-quarter (EOQ), and end-of-year (EOY) — often overlapping with holiday periods — with a direct impact on finance close timelines and revenue recognition.
Responsibilities:
- Own frontline deal desk operations, providing real-time support to Sales during critical closing periods, including EOM, EOQ, and EOY
- Manage the opportunity-to-booking process in Salesforce, ensuring accurate deal setup, stage progression, required fields, ARR, contract terms, renewal dates, and product data
- Support contracting execution through DealHub, including workflow coordination, template or playbook updates, approval routing, and alignment to Salesforce opportunity structure
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success to resolve deal blockers, support finance close readiness, and maintain compliance
- Maintain renewal pipeline accuracy by creating and updating renewal opportunities, validating classifications, and ensuring visibility into renewals, expansions, and downgrades
- Bring 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or similar functions, with strong hands-on Salesforce and DealHub/CPQ expertise
- Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and execution discipline in fast-paced, deadline-driven revenue environments
- Deal Desk Operations & Closing Support (Primary Focus):
- Serve as the frontline deal desk operator, enabling sales to close deals efficiently and compliantly
- Provide real-time deal support during critical closing windows (EOM / EOQ / EOY)
- Ensure availability during peak periods, including coordination across time zones and holiday coverage when needed
- Support finance close readiness by ensuring all bookings, approvals, and contracting elements are complete and accurate
- Act as a central operational point of contact for active deals across Sales, Finance, and Legal
- Opportunity Booking & Revenue Accuracy:
- Own the end-to-end opportunity booking process in Salesforce
- Validate deal readiness prior to close:
- Product configuration and pricing completeness
- Contract alignment and funding confirmation
- Ensure data integrity across all booking fields (ARR, contract terms, renewal dates, products)
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers impacting booking or revenue recognition
- Support processes for deal extensions or exceptions
- Contracting Execution (DealHub):
- Support DealHub workflows
- Configuration and updates to products, playbooks, and templates
- Approval workflow updates
- Maintain alignment between DealHub contracts and Salesforce opportunity structure
- Make operational template updates in DealHub (where needed) to improve efficiency and scalability
- Coordinate closely with Legal and Finance to resolve contracting issues and ensure compliance
- Escalate and prioritize time-sensitive contracting issues impacting closing timelines
- Ensure timely creation and maintenance of renewal opportunities
- Conduct ongoing pipeline hygiene and accuracy checks
- Partner with CS to ensure accurate classification of renewals, expansions, and downgrades
- Maintain full visibility and predictability of renewal pipeline
- Salesforce & Tooling Operations for Bookings:
- Support Salesforce data quality related to bookings and contracting readiness
- Ensure proper opportunity structure, stage progression, and required fields
- Troubleshoot gaps in automation and maintain reliable manual backup processes
- Support operational coordination across:
- DealHub (primary contracting platform)
- Salesforce
- Supporting sales tools
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in Sales Operations, Deal Desk, or Revenue Operations
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Salesforce (opportunity and pipeline management)
- DealHub (or similar deal desk / CPQ / contracting systems)
- Proven ability to operate in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments (EOM/EOQ/EOY)
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Legal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deals and priorities
- Excellent communication skills across both commercial and operational stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted deal desk partner to Sales leadership
- Maintain high integrity of bookings and contracting data
- Enable on-time and accurate finance close
- Act as the single-threaded operational owner of deal execution and approvals
- Bring strong organization, attention to detail, and proactive communication across all stakeholders
