Job summary

A Leading OTC Company is seeking an Executive – Modern Trade for DMart pan India. The role focuses on obtaining POs from stores, coordinating product delivery, and managing inventory to optimize shelf space across pan-India DMart locations.

The candidate will oversee promoter scheduling, price-accuracy displays, and weekly pricing benchmarking while mitigating shrinkage and ensuring on-floor stock integrity. This is an in-person, field-based role across DMart stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in securing PO from stores and regional purchase teams.
• Inventory tracking and shelf-management experience.
• Ability to coordinate promotions and promoter schedules.
• Willingness to work in-person at DMart locations.

Responsibilities

• Getting PO from the Store: Discuss with local and regional Purchase Manager of Dmart and get the PO of Stocks. Co-ordinate the Delivery of the Products to the Store.
• Inventory Control: Routinely capture inventory on App. Monitor and action top-selling SKUs, slow-moving items, and zero-sale categories to optimize shelf space.
• Visual Execution: Track shelf-fill rates, product visibility, accurate price boards, and promotional displays.
• Pricing Benchmarking: Conduct competitor benchmarking at local retail stores every week and verify product assortment, range, and pricing competitiveness.
• Promoter Management: Direct, brief, Train and schedule third-party brand promoters on the floor. Manage daily attendance and assign shelf targets to optimize their store utility.
• Pilferage & Shrinkage Mitigation: Coordinate closely with the Store Team and warehouse stock teams to reconcile "stock in systems" versus "stock on floor" to spot system anomalies or theft.
