Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Sales Manager for Baroda to drive sales of tower flanges, slewing rings, and bearing rings to wind OEMs, EPCs, and heavy equipment manufacturers.

Role focuses on project-based selling, OEM relationship management, and coordinated execution with engineering and supply chain to expand the customer base across wind, cranes, mining, infrastructure, and heavy machinery sectors.

Qualifications

• BE degree in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgical engineering.
• 7–18 years of relevant sales/engineering experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of tower flanges, slewing rings, and bearing rings to wind OEMs, EPCs, and heavy equipment manufacturers.
• Lead project-based selling, OEM relationship management, and solution-oriented sales execution.
• Identify and develop new OEM/EPC/project customers; expand presence across wind, cranes, mining, infrastructure, and heavy machinery segments.
• Coordinate with Engineering, PPC, Manufacturing, and SCM to ensure feasible, on-time delivery and successful order execution.
• Prepare quotations and tenders; lead negotiations, contracts, pricing, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Purpose: Responsible for driving sales, customer acquisition, and account growth for tower flanges, slewing rings, and bearing rings supplied to wind OEMs, EPCs, heavy equipment manufacturers, and infrastructure projects. Focus on project-based selling, OEM relationship management, and solution-oriented sales execution.
• Business Development & Market Expansion: Tower flanges (wind towers, structural joints); Slewing rings (cranes, excavators, F&B, yaw & pitch systems); Bearing rings (large diameter industrial applications)
• Identify and develop new OEM, EPC, and project customers. Expand presence across wind, cranes, mining, infrastructure, and heavy machinery segments. Track upcoming projects, RFQs, and sourcing plans.
• OEM & Key Account Management: Manage OEM and strategic customer accounts. Build long-term relationships with engineering, sourcing, and quality teams. Act as single point of contact for commercial discussions, escalations, and project coordination. Convert development orders into long-term business.
• Technical & Project Sales: Work with application engineering to understand load, interface, and specifications. Offer technically compliant solutions. Support techno-commercial discussions, customer design reviews, clarifications, and audits.
• Quotation, Pricing & Negotiation: Prepare quotations and tenders aligned with cost and margin targets. Lead negotiations, contracts, pricing finalization, change management, and claim handling.
• Order Execution & Cross Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Engineering, PPC, Manufacturing, and SCM to ensure feasibility, capacity alignment, on-time delivery, and customer commitments. Monitor order execution and resolve delivery, quality, or documentation issues.
• Market Intelligence & Strategy Inputs: Track competition, imports, price trends, and sourcing strategies. Gather feedback on product gaps and competitiveness. Provide structured inputs for capacity expansion, product strategy, and vertical focus.
• Key Interfaces: Internal: Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, PPC, SCM, Finance External: OEMs, EPCs, project consultants, inspection agencies
