Job summary

SMFG INDIA CREDIT COMPANY is looking for a LAP department professional to source enterprise borrowers within the local catchment area. The role involves lead generation, DSA management, and maintaining KYC-compliant files.

You will coordinate disbursement with risk and sanction teams and oversee timely completion of cases. Responsibilities include merchant engagement, data logging, and ensuring timely collection and portfolio quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in LAP/loan against property within NBFC or microfinance.
• 2+ years in LAP department.
• Must be local resident with age up to 33 (relaxation up to 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Sourcing target customers (Enterprise) in the branch catchment area.
• Cold calling, log leads with required documents (KYC).
• Market penetration through direct/indirect marketing activities.
• Empanel DSA network and manage relationships as per policy.
• Coordinate with Risk/Sanction teams and ensure timely disbursement.
• Post-disbursement compliance and collection efforts to ensure repayment.

Job description

Role & responsibilities -

1. Sourcing Customers:

• Responsible for sourcing target customers (Enterprise) in the branch catchment area.
• Cold calling, generation of leads, attending to prospects and logging in the file with necessary documents like KYC etc
• Market penetration through direct/indirect marketing activities
• Empanelling DSAs, generating business through DSA network with relationship management as per Sourcing Policy of the company released time to time.

2. Disbursement:

• Coordinating with Risk Team for PD, facilitating additional documents/information if any.
• Ability to present and discuss the case with sanction authority
• Necessary inputs to the appraisal as and when required
• Documentation, coordinating with customers for mortgage and Ops for timely disbursement activities
• Ensuring post disbursement compliance as per stipulated time.

3. Collection:

• Ensuring timely repayment from the customers
• Ensuring portfolio quality by following up with delinquent customers

Preferred candidate profile -

1. Preferred from LAP background handling ticket size 50 lakhs to 1 crore( NBFC / Micro Finance )
2. Minimum 2+ years of work experience in LAP department.
3. Must be local resident.
4. Age up to 33 years (relaxation of up to 2 years can be consider).
5. Grade up to O4.
6. Individual SM Profile
7. DSA / Connector handling experience must.
8. Computer & Mail communication knowledge.
