Job summary

Her Pursuit Chennai is seeking a professional for strategic sales and customer management in the commercial vehicle domain. The role involves engaging with OEMs, understanding pricing and contract terms, and managing project-related activities to secure new business opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of CV manufacturing processes, APQP/PPAP concepts, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and on-time quote submissions.

Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of M&HCV ICE and EV manufacturers in India.
• Deep technical knowledge of Automotive systems /components and Manufacturing process.
• Familiarity with OEM Procurement, Project management and APQP/PPAP.
• Strong understanding of pricing, contracts, CRM, analytics and ERP systems
• Interacts with customers for new business opportunities and provides timely feedback on status
• Monitors monthly/quarterly/annual sales revenue and margins with corrective actions for variances
• Forecasting of market and customer volumes
• Coordinates with Engineering, Purchasing, manufacturing, Plant and finance to meet customer requirements; on time quote submission and response rate
• Monitors New program development and proto development for CV customers
• Keeps overdue outstanding under control
• Attends weekly calls Sales, Customer Status, schedule vs dispatch, receivables, etc.
• MIS generation of reports (Actual+forecast), SOB, OTIF, BSC, MOR & Sales walks
• Obtains timely price increases from customers for commodity and ECNs

• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual sales revenue and margins monitoring and corrective actions if any major variance.
• Forecasting of market and customer volumes
• Close coordination with Engineering, Purchasing, manufacturing, Plant and finance to meet customer requirements. On time quote submission and response rate.
• Monitor New program development and proto development for all CV customers
