Job summary

My Car in Madukkur seeks an experienced sales manager to lead the showroom, from inquiry to delivery, and to grow a local used-car business. You will meet customers, assess needs, and recommend suitable vehicles while negotiating prices and closing deals transparently.

The role requires knowledge of local models and pricing, familiarity with vehicle documentation, and a customer-friendly, target-driven approach. Local candidates from surrounding towns are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of car sales experience, used-cars preferred.
• Knowledge of popular models, pricing and local market.
• Familiarity with vehicle documentation, RTO and finance.
• Strong Tamil communication; English a plus.
• Honest, customer-friendly and target-driven.
• Two-wheeler and driving licence; four-wheeler licence required.
• Local candidates from Madukkur and nearby towns preferred.

Responsibilities

• My Car is a new pre-owned car showroom in Madukkur. We sell quality-checked, fairly priced second-hand cars and believe in honest dealing and long-term customer relationships. We're looking for an experienced sales manager to help us launch and grow.

What you’ll do

• Lead day-to-day showroom sales, from customer enquiry to delivery
• Meet walk-in, phone and online customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable cars
• Negotiate prices and close deals professionally and transparently
• Evaluate trade-in cars and help source good-quality vehicles for our stock
• Coordinate RC transfer, insurance and loan or finance paperwork with banks and NBFCs
• Promote our cars on WhatsApp, OLX, CarDekho, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Follow up on leads and keep simple sales records
• Build a network of local dealers, mechanics and referral partners
• Help set up sales processes and train new team members as we grow

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of experience in car sales (used-car experience preferred)
• Good knowledge of popular car models, pricing and the local market
• Familiarity with vehicle documentation, RTO procedures and car finance
• Strong communication in Tamil (English is an advantage)
• An honest, customer-friendly approach and a target-driven mindset
• Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence (four-wheeler licence required)
• Local candidates from Madukkur, Pattukkottai, Mannargudi or Thanjavur preferred
